Save the dates! Office Hours community coaching calls
For paid subscribers: Mark your calendars for our twice-monthly community coaching calls on Google Meet. Here are the dates, times, and links for upcoming sessions. Let's talk about your writing!
Office Hours community coaching may be one of the best-kept secrets for new writers on the internet. This twice-monthly call for Writes of Fiction paid subscribers is your chance to spend a whole hour with me talking shop—and right now, our little group is pretty darn small, which means more time for you!
Office Hours is no big cattle-call webinar where nobody gets a chance to speak. Sessions are intimate enough that the conversation can flow naturally—you’re not locked into chat text. At Office Hours, we chat about writing and storytelling strategies, and I answer your individual questions about creating fiction.
Office Hours calls happen twice a month on Google Meet. There’s a regular lunchtime session on the second Thursday of every month, and another session on the third week of the month that rotates among morning, evening, and weekend times to accommodate writers in all time zones. Rotating sessions are often joined by my editorial colleague Beth Hill, author of The Magic of Fiction—two editorial perspectives in one relaxed, friendly setting.
